The Moto G(s goog) might just turn out to be one of the best budget phones ever. Not only does it have the looks and hardware to compete with phones that cost a lot more, but Motorola has confirmed that by the time it arrives in the U.S., it’ll be running Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.
According to Mark Randal, senior vice president of Motorola’s supply chain and operations, “Wave two, products that we ship after Christmas, will start with KitKat. So if you think about it, everyone by the end of January will have KitKat. Wave 2 is in the U.S., there’s South East Asia and other countries.”
