Stan Lee has agreed to turn himself into a castable character in Plotagon, a piece of software that enables users to create short animated films based on the screenplays they write.
Earlier this month, the comicbook veteran who created characters such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men inked a deal with the Swedish startup to produce four new characters for the program through his Pow! Entertainment banner.
But now Lee has decided to make himself a fifth character (see above), as part of the deal. All of the characters are offered through the Stan Lee Superhero Pack, a $9.99 add-on.
“I have had great fun creating all my characters and have really enjoyed seeing my fans create their own stories,” Lee said. “Now, through this collaboration with Plotagon, fans can create their own short superhero movies.”
